cooking jiffy mix in mcrowave

2 question here...

if you cook jiffy mix in the microwave are you sterlizing or pasteurizing? i'm thinking it pasteurizing, but i'm not sure...

and i've read that you should get it to 170F, what if it goes over 170? if it got to like over 200F is it still any good?

jiffy mix is bad juju... if you're casing, try coco coir and vermiculite,
by cooking it in a microwave you'd be sterilizing it

Why's Jiffy mix bad ju ju? Isnt it exactly the same as 50/50+? Perhaps a different pH but should be around 7, not bad...for those who cant find verm by itself, isnt this an alternative?

Oh and theres nothing to kill except bad stuff...kill it all...I PC all my casing mix.
