To Dread or not to Dread. That is the question.
    #3665198 - 01/22/05 10:55 PM (19 years, 2 months ago)

hey everyone. I have been running it through my head recently...to dread my hair or not to dread it. I've been tossing it around in my mind for a while now, but haven't come to a solid conclusion.

I was wondering what everyone thought...if they have any suggestions or opinions on dreads and so on.

I saw this chick who had these fantastic dyed dreads.. they looked great on her. Probally would look goofy on me, but they did the trick for her.

Ive got a fro-puff/bozo the clown thing going if mine gets long.. so dreads arent in my near future.

dreads are something many people want, but few look good with them.

aer you going to buy some hair product to dread your hair?
or are you just not gonna wash your hair for two months?

Oh are you talking bout the girl with the "purdy pink Dreds" at the shroomery. Ya she was cute. You can always take Dreads out if you ont like em but what a waste of time if you spend hours puttin them in. Your texture of your hais is also a factor on whether or not they will hold....beeez wax helps but only to an extent....It sucks when your dreads start frizzin up.

i used to do liberty spikes and one time i tried using bees wax. i went into a NOFX concert and the heat from the venue melted the wax and my spikes turned to dreads. i got on stage with the singer and he thought they were cool. haha. that was the only time i had them, well...poser dreads.

i really dig my dreads... i've had them for 5+ yrs.
if you are in a position to do it and you want to then you should let it dread. otherwise maybe you should wait.

You have dreads, danksistah? That's pretty crazy. That's a serious commitment there.

Do you have like a dozen really thick dreads? Cause that's pretty cool. I had an English professor who only had a like fifteen dreads, but they were all real thick. He coulda named them all!
