Does anyone use a tape recorder during a trip? I've been thinking about getting one for quite a while, it seems almost ridiculous to trip and not have one unless you just trust your subconscious to absorb everything...

Ken Kesey and his Merry Pranksters would lay in a circle and 'rap' while on Lysergic Acid Diethylamide. Kesey would move a tape recorder over their heads to record bits and pieces of everyones conversations.

It sounds like it might prove intrigueing to try.

yup, I have kept some very good portions of my trips recorded, and recollected many things that I would of in no way remembered with out it.

i have no need for a tape recorder -- my mind has amazing memory recall (i can remember every thought and feeling i had on acid 3 months ago and every thought and feeling i had on pot from my first time last year)

We're all MADD here...
