What's the best way to deal with this?
How do you deal with daily chaos especially during "hard" days?

"quiet" time
dip into an excellent book
a pot of hot tea with honey & ginseng
a big cuppa cocoa
put on some music you can sing along to
go for a decent walk
go for a decent run
have a good cry in private (& wash your face afterwards)
crawl inside a sleeping bag & cocoon...
write in your journal
write a letter to...(fill n the blank)... & burn it...
write a letter to ...(")... and mail it...
chant OM until all that remains is vibration
embrace the void
pray or meditate
~~~
and for those with the mean$:
get a massage
svitz
soak
a facial
a pedicure/foot shaitzu
call up somebody you think about often, but talk to seldom
treat yourself to a meal at a restaurant you've always wanted to try, but...
buy that (art, picture, instrument, book, whatever) special you've been wanting forever, but just haven't)
......... just a few thoughts...
..........hope all will be well again soon enough...

on my hard days i sleep, just sleep and sleep till im needed. sleep is better than living when living is hard. and i cant deal with problems while tired anyway

Do whatever it takes to become centered, as gnrm says. We all go through that crap; some overcome it, while others just give in to it. If you choose to take the first path, then you must be extremely dedicated though. I know it helps to start out the day with a little meditation time, however you like to do it. If you can consistently do that, you're on the way.
