all that is, is dessicant in a little baggie...& expensively priced i may ad... you can get a shit load of dessicant at homedepot starting around $3.

Actually it is not dessicant. The company that is selling it also sells dessicant which removes moisture from the air. This stuff removes the oxygen from the air, which would prevent oxidation and allow some one to store dried mushrooms without a loss of potency for a long time.

oh my bad... but anyways...yeah i think that would work...i usually just throw a coffee filter sack of dessicant in there...works fine too and is alot cheaper...

i'd personnaly would love to try those "special" jars that u can suck all the air out creating a vacuum(as seen on tv stores) oh another cheap way to do this would be just flood the cointainer w CO2.
