Hail To The Thief! A reminder of who He is!
    #3658508 - 01/21/05 01:15 PM (19 years, 2 months ago)

In celebration of our new King   , I thought it would be appropriate to begin a thread that is dedicated to pointing out just how intelligent and collected our returning Thief...I mean Chief  ...is.

I will start it off with a wonderful link with a collection of Videos that you may explore in honor of this Great Man (as is your patriotic duty).

Lets start out this Four Year Hell understanding well what we got ourselves into! Please contribute you known Bushisms, Slip-ups and displays of plain retardation in homage to our Big Brother Bushy!

Nah! I dint support him either...if you ask me the whole system is fucked. But I do think that he was the lesser of two "evils"...The preferable puppet if you will.

At least he could talk right!

Oh and just because Bush can supposedly "stick with one decision" doesn't mean it was/is the right one!

Why am I not surprised you fell for that bush campaign brainwashing lie? That said, this country is going to be fucked (one way or another depending on which "side" you're on) until we get better 3rd party inclusion which can really only come from a revamped voting system (irv or concordat) and a complete overhaul of campaign financing. Even still, it needs to start at the local level.

IRV instant runoff voting. hahaha

how about something simple like a Photo ID to vote.

Which has nothing to do with IRV/Concordat voting verus our current "system". Any other bright ideas?

I completely agree we need more 3rd party involvement both sides are too polarized today. but don't call it a brainwashing lie, when his voting record is clear.

Wrong again...I'm an anarchist. I don't care for a third party either. I would rather a small group of my friends and family being left alone to our own devices. Farming, gathering, making love, doing drugs, raising kids.

I just find it especially humoring that of all the choices...THIS ONE was chosen. It's pretty sad.

Well...I would then further argue that he wasn't chosen...so...

Ignoring the second part which is more of the same reguritated campaign nonsense. Your first part is spot on though. It is in fact the polarization of the two parties which has lead us to the kind of choice we had this past november and it wasn't a pretty choice for either "side". Personally I think Kerry was better than Bush but I think David Cobb for example, or even maybe Badnarik would have been an even better choice. I was really disappointed in how little media coverage both the LP and the GP got this past election. The LP in particular had a pretty good campaign, posted some good numbers and they got almost competely ignored by the media. Now of course that has nothing to do with those media outlets being repub or democrat stoolies, does it?

Unfortunately what works for a small group of like minded individuals will not work for a large and diverse group. What you're really describing in your ideal situation is communism. Which is great for really small communities. Also for ants and bees. Not so much for huge groups of people.

"media outlets being repub or democrat stoolies" that's funny and dead on the money. most people i know don't fit on either side of the political spectrum and unfortunately there is little representation with any kind of pull out there right now. i may be wrong but didn't the libertarian party get someone elected to the House of Represntitives or maybe a state senate?

*shrug* I'm not a libertarian, so I didn't follow all their election results. I was mainly referring to the fact that Badnarik got on something like 49/51 ballots (50 states + DC). Plus his and Cobb's protest of the "debates", in which they were not allowed despite "qualifying" for them based on the relevant laws.

Kerry and Bush are both Skull and Bones. No doubt about it.
Democrat and republicans are the exact same. They only seem different around election time. We need somebody who can actually do the job of President, and do it good. Who you ask? A libertarian, that's who. Somebody who actually believes in the Constitution and will make the Federal government do only what it's supposed to. Nothing more.

Sorry, I had to go out for a few hours. This thread is probably completely dead now...unfortunate. But if you decide to check back, perhaps this will be read...

I totally agree! That is how humans are MEANT (evolutionarily speaking- no such thing as God) to exist. So that is the MOST successful environment we could be in. Personally, that is what I am striving for. I can't say that it should be the solution for the 6 billion or so people that exist now-a-days but, as selfish as it seems, at least I can attempt a happy and free life.

As far as being a communist. Naw, not really. I don't want to give to a "state" or anything to the like. I don't even really want a state. I would more label my ideal social structure would be more..."Tribalism". And not the barbaric tribalism that we imagine, or the ignorant tribalism that we see on the discovery channel...but a new type of tribalism revolving around the group members as independent and educated individuals that have logically decided that a small group of caring folks that want to share resources and benefits of a group situation is best.

You are totally right. This is a very sad reality that I deal with a lot. No matter how non-threatening and alone I want to be there will still be shitty people and dominating governments. I know when I chose to form a community with my family (being my "tribe") that the ideal has a shelf life. It will be eventually overrun and shut down. The land I have managed to keep to myself for a few years (hopefully generations) will be usurped and sub-urbanized. But until then I have a goal to exist substantially, productively, and happily. I understand your sad point...
