Hey, what's a protest without tinfoil beanies?
pinky
They must have checked out this site before the protest: http://zapatopi.net/afdb.html
Seriously though, why would they intentionally wear a tin foil hat?

Look at the sign carried by the woman wearing the snazzy conical cap with the checkered hatband. You can't read it all, but it has the words "**D CONTROL" as the second line -- probably "mind control". I would guess she opposes mind control and believes her beanie offers her some protection from it. pinky

Did you ever see pictures of an anti-American rally in Pakistan where this dude lit an american flag on fire and he caught himself on fire?
It was really funny.

I love the sight of a burning American flags.
This country has killed 10,000 human beings in Iraq for no reason as well as thousands in other countries. We deserve to be invaded.

So then you believe the citizens deserve to be punished for the actions of their government? Same sort of logic used in the Iraq invasion(or most wars for that matter).

no reason? how 'bout we're trying to make their country better (granted we want something) and they shoot at us, put artilery shells on the sides of roads, shoot old rockets attached to car batteries. that's enough reason for me, because they shot first!

Uh, we invaded first, then they shot at us. Kinda makes you think that maybe they don't want us there, huh?

yeah we invaded first, but don't want us there? then you haven't met the business owners who want to talk to us b/c they can thrive, you haven't talked to the security forces who want to make their contry better, you haven't seen the kids smiling and shy when we give the toys and candy...you just see the sound bites on the news

Perhaps i'm being too harsh. We shouldn't be invaded, but once we've done something like we did in Iraq(twice) something needs to be done about us. We need to have less power. We are a disease on this planet.

You have a problem with the first Iraq war too? Is your objection based on the fact that Hussein was right to invade Kuwait, or that we shouldn't have done anything about it? Do you think that there are criminal acts of any kind? If so do you think that anything should be done about them? Would you abolish all police forces?

Well of course, but what are the chances of that? We need a mass shift in consciousness. We probably lost our chance at that on October 6, 1966.
Zappa: No, i'm not against the first one. I'm just sayin' is all.
