hi am useing pda now after i boil the patatoes,do i top up the water that steamed away ,or just use what is left.thanks

Add more water if to make the amount of liquid specified in the formula if you fall short.

If the formula requires a liter potato water and after boiling your potatoes in water, you get less than a liter, just add more water to make it a full liter. Then add the agar, dextrose and any other optional ingredients.

I personally use 10 grams of dehydrated potatoes per liter of water instead of boiling potatoes. It is one less pot to wash.
