Sure. The cat always preps the entire brick at once and stores it in a bucket until needed, at which time he sterilizes the amount he needs.

Make sure you let it dry out though! Dont store it wet...

a friend makes a big batch of casing mix and keeps it in a tupperware container(he said he did sterilize it by nukeing) and uses it as he needs.
