What's next after PF Tek?

So let's assume that I have mastered the pf tek, using brf and verm. What should I "move on to" next? Grains or something? Should I still be using 1/2 pint jars to do it? And after using a basic casing technique (such as using verm for both layers) what should I use next?

i would go and use finch seed for substrate and then lern how to use it as spawn.

Hook up with a pressure cooker. Cook some white rice a little overdone and put a small layer in a 1 pint wide mouth jar. The layer should be about 1/8 inch. Sterilize . Very carefully put some spores in the jar by lifting the lid slightly on one side of the jar. Let that incubate till completely grown over.
Meanwhile,get some sort of other grain and cook it up to the desired doneness. Fill up a quart jar a little more than half way and sterilize.
When ready take the white rice (crumpled ) and very carefully put into the prepared jar of other grain. Screw the lid down and shake well.
Keep checking and and shaking as needed.
When done colonizing you can initiate pinning by exposing to light and watering lightly and fanning regularly.
Fruit in the jar or dump in a tray. Casing is optional with cubensis.

Sorry, but that's very complicated way to do a very simple thing. Read up on rye-grain/rye berries. Use these to spawn straw/dung/worm poo.

Or if you want to go even further than that, you can get yourself some agar and "play around" with it :wink:. It's all here just look for it.

The 9er-Tek is great. You will need a pressure cooker.
