pasteurization

when buying store/feed manure is it always necessary to pasteurize or can you use right out of the bag?

i have used hoffman cow manure bought from diy before and used right out of the bag with good results, but diy is now out of business where i live.
also, are ther any places you can buy pasteurized dung on the net?
(i know i'm being lazy)
