What I love about S&P
    #3653410 - 01/20/05 12:11 PM (19 years, 2 months ago)

Sure, there are lots of other spirituality forums out there, but this is the one that draws me in. I love it because this place moves so fast. I have said it before that this is a superior place to grow at light speed because of the fast passed interaction and volume here.

Not that there is a rush, I just like the rush of the rush so this is a personal preference thingy.

Other slow moving forums, are like slow dancing. Anyone can slow dance, it's easy to find the rhythm and just sway back and forth to it.

Now, put on a meringue and woahhhhhhhhhhh there are many rhythms and beats to move with and the dance is fast and its easy to loose form and stumble and trip and get off rhythm.

The harmonics of life are like this and to be in harmony with life and to flow with grace and ease is no easy feat. Participating in the dance here allows for me to quickly catch how and where I loose form, get out of rhythm, how I came to trip or stumble or step on my partners toes. I can perfect my dance with life to a place of greater grace more quickly here.

Again there is no rush, yet the quicker I can live in grace and ease verses clumsiness and effort, the more I will enjoy the dance of life of course here and off the board of course.

I'm experiencing a massive amount of appreciation for this forum today and I just wanted to share that energy and a main reason why.

To the art of the dance of life and to the orchestra! May we all dance to it in harmony and grace and ease to its music and be in joy!

why damn it? join in it. take a break and come fly with me, sung in sinatras voice. Be in love with me red, be in love with your job, your home, your big toe, life, everyone here and there and  just fly in love with something.

Hormones for sure, when you generate thoughts that hit a certain frequency pitch, (height) they trigger a chemical production in the brain to give the sensations of the thoughts through feelings.

Someone once said that are brains are the most awesome pharmacies in the universe.

Let your mind take flight and your emotions will follow. Come fly with me, think love be love be in love and come fly with me.

BTW, that sort of what swami was getting at in cosms love post. Of course it is not a thing you can give to another like a flower in itself . However, if in mind, you give that gesture a good thought and good meaning follows the thought you will feel good.

You can choose to think nothing of the gesture and feel nothing as a result. I can not give love to you without you interpeting my gestures to be given in and out of my love (good thoughts). One must accept the thought to feel the asscociated feeling. Love really is something we give to ourselves our allow ourselves to feel by thinking loving thoughts. if we accept the loving thoughts and or gestures of another then those thoughts will generate loving feelings, to the extent we charge the thought and lift it and make it big or small, grand or mundane, meaningful or meaningless.

One can not give to another what they do not give to themselves. But two or more can really get the inspiration for thinking loving thoughts going and get the chemicals flowing.

I brought up the frequency stuff, and I know swam doesn't do the vibe thing, but hey thats okay cuz you don't need to know how a car engine works to have hella fun driving in one!!!!!!!!!!!

back to sinatra singing voice and a jazzy beat, "come fly with me, be in love with me cuz life is beautiful and so are you and you and you and you and we are ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE" and I think you are great and all of you are great and beautiful and if you let me give those thoughts to you and you think them and then feel them you will feel the joy and love of your beauty and greatness and be in love with me.

And hey I don't care if you laugh with me or at me, just that your laughing.

Cue in the spinners hit;
people round the world,
join hands,
start alove train
a love train

bopping out of the screen.............

All of life is a dance. Why not have fun with it? All I know is that I'd rather salsa than squaredance anyday.

Lol, I'm feeling some good vibrations today as well Jiggy. Its always nice to see that I'm not the only one! (good stuff as far as "you can't give to others what you don't give to yourself" too!)

Good job! Excellent post and excellent writing!

Cheers to the music and the dance of life!

Bonus today and tomorrow - weekend calling rates are in effect.

Call your mom, your dad, your sis or bro. Life is short.

life is not short, life is long, especially if you make the wrong decisions.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I read your post and thought about some things. Thought about life. And burst into a fit of laughter. Very positive laughter.

I'm suddenly fully present and I'm laughing with you

Jumped in a river, what did I see?
Black eyed angels swimming with me
Moon full of stars and astral cars, all the figures I used to see
All my lovers were there with me
All my past and all my futures
We went to heaven in a little rowboat
There was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt
