A few days ago, I ate 3.5 grams of regular cubensis. I had an average trip, plenty of visuals. Three days later, I ate 9 grams of the same mushrooms. I waited for four hours, with disappointingly minimal effects, especially for nine grams. I experienced visuals but what I would normally expect from 1-1.5 grams. I chalked it up as a loss due to tolerance from not waiting long enough between trips. About 5 hours after I had eaten the mushrooms I smoked a fairly large bowl of pot. About halfway through the bowl, my world burst into a maelstrom of colour. "Now that's what nine grams SHOULD be doing" I thought. I was completely astounded. My trip lasted a total of 9 hours. I love pot.

I made a theory about this, shrooms and weed work together well because they are two organic sources from the earth..thy are natural substances.
Dunno, but I think im right.
Sorry if I sound dumb lol..i just smoked a *bowl*.

thats not right, something isnt synergistic just because theyre both organic, if your theory is true, we could all go out and smoke some nightshade and eat some Amanita Phalloides, and trip balls. heh, wouldnt suggest it.

My theory... ;-)
When you smoke mj in a sober state, the mj is taking it's effects on a sober mind. Thus, you are only experiencing the effects of the mj. Now, when you smoke mj while on another psychedelic, it is affecting a brain with totally different patterns and chemical balances, blah blah blah etc. So it's just twisting apart the mind that is already twisted apart. Or something like that anyways. ;-) Simple enough eh? lol
I just theorized that as I typed it btw. Damn I'm good! hehe

Come to think of it, pot intensifies most substances I've tried. Alcohol especially. Goes well with opiates and just about everything else.

I think i just smoked some laced weed or something man..
I just huffed a j, now my mouth is all numb i cant feel the air going down when i inhale through my mouth..it feels so messed man..wtf is this??

Actually, if you simplify his theory to mean that natural substances of a similar physiological nature tend to potentiate one another, then what you said does hold to his theory: The deadly nightshade would only be made more fatal by the poisonous phalloides.
Not that I necessarily agree or disagree one way or another, but at least as pertains to the psilocybin and cannabis, I will find out on Friday. Never taken them together and I'd like to see what all the fuss is about. Will post a trip report if it gets crazy enough.
