    #3652855 - 01/20/05 10:48 AM (14 years, 1 month ago)

my tubs are 58 quart sterilite, my sub. consists of compost manure/ straw spawned with wbs. there is polyfil one on each side and two in the top. the poo/straw was mix with colonized wbs in bags sort of like a straw log. they colonized fast in the bags but when broken up in tubs colonization slowed. my humidity is high enough. i don't get it

Well you did make them colonize the substrate twice..you had it all colonize the poo then broke it up to put in tubs again.....You should have just mixed it all up in the tubs to begin with.

Humidity should also not be a factor at this point since it still should be incubating. If its not, you should put it back into the incubator.

"life is like a drop of rain getting closer and closer to falling into a lake, and then when you hit the lake there is no more rain drop, only the lake."

Growing with bags, start to finish (including my new grain and substrate prep)
Anyone looking to start bulk tubs/mono tubs/shotgun hybrids? Good tubs to use..
How I do grain (old still good tips)
Turn your closet into a fruiting chamber
Casing layer colonization and overlay
