want to grow some hay caps

i just found some wild hay caps (paneaolus foenisecii) and i want to grow them. i am trying to get a print right now, but im anot sure if it will work since i had it under my fan drying for about an hour. i found them in a patch of grass a few feet away from some sawdust (remains of a chopped down tree) and i identified them in my eyewitness handbook on mushrooms. i found out on the mushrooms hunting forum and they said that they are weakly hallucinogenic and taste awful! i still want to grow this strain out though because different shrooms give different highs even if you have to take alot. does anyone have any info on how to grow this strain????

Dude, I think you read wrong, go read it again. It was said that they were originally thought to be weakly hallucinogenic, but that they were found to not be. Also, they taste bad. So, I ask, why waste time growing a mushroom that doesn't have mush culinary, or any psychoactive uses? Grow some other mushroom instead, and just eat the ones you found.

i guess, i kinda wanted to "expand" my growing abilities. i really do think they are hallucinogenic though.

Ok, it's great that aluminum can is trying to get cultures from different mushrooms. Yes maybe he was interested in the psychoactive value, but , in essence, it's what we all should be doing. There are still thousands of mushrooms that are unidentified and/or are on the brink of extinction. Yes, even in your back yard.

Don't waste your time with that mushroom, it won't get you high. I've eaten over 100 at a time with no results whatsoever. And in the last few years there has been lots of scientific prove that the mushroom is not 'magic'.
