almost lucky...

Ok, well i have been looking for blue ringers like crazy here in the PNW, and i havent seen a single mushroom (magic or not)

When all the sudden one day i was walking home and right outside of a nice resteraunt (REAL NICE GRASS) i noticed a mushroom, as i knelt down to pick it, i noticed hundreds of them all over the grass... i thought i was the luckiest man in the world, but when i saw them they had no blue ring on any of them, and they were just little guys... They were just some LBMs i guess.. although there were two species, and one of them had a wavy cap ..

anyways, i am depressed.. but, hey atleast i found a mushroom!!!

That is the way I look at it man. It is too bad that they weren't psychoactive, but I get excited as hell to see a mushroom, poisonous, edible, hallucinoenic, it doesnt matter, they all give me a hard on, hehe. Anyway, just keep looking and you will surly find some eventually.

Yeah, it's fun to find any species, period. Keep looking. Starting now and lasting till December, you'll come across many, many species of new mushrooms.

Hello OJ, well I found a lot of blue ringers and I posted here and someone took it upon theirselves to remove my post here so it is now posted in the Mushroom pictures forum about August 1, P. stuntzzi collection. Check it out for phot images and have a good luck spree finding some.

I get excited when finding any shrooms too. On my way home from school one day, about 20 brown and orangish white capped shrooms were growing at the base of a tree. I took out my lunch container and packed it with shrooms, when i got home i looked at them more, they were quite slimy and packed with spores, they smelled like rotton potatoes... i regret picking them badly. oh well. live and learn...
