Is it pure white mycelium??
Or is it white and spider web looking??
White is good if it is think it will start to knot up soon and produce primordia this is good

i dont think that it's overlay because the mycelium is below a very thin layer of 50/50+, it has not overtaken the whole casing layer. what do you guys and gals think?
thanx

i just put three casing into the terrarium and there were nice clumps of rizo's popping up. they were little strands of mycelium growing a few milimeter up above the casing layer. is that what you have? if so then it is perfectly fine.

did you know that 100% of people that die have traces of oxygen in their system?

I was under the impression that the cottony mycelium was not desierable and that it's mostly the rizomorphic (sp)? growth that fruits. Is this correct or not?
