No, although the West(Best) Coast and East(Least) Coast are completely different socially, culturally, and most often politically. America doesnt need a war to figure out any problems within itself.

no I'm not talking about east versus west or south versus north, shit. I'm talking about citizens versus big daddy Sam. and the cultural differences between east and west shouldnt be a problem hell each state has there own culture.

I hope not, Uncle Sam does more good for EVERY American than they realize. If some U.S. citizens felt that it was necessary to attack Uncle Sam (without being attacked themselves) I should hope that the rebellion would be crushed quickly and justly for the safety of the rest.

The only semi-plausible civil war I could see would be between the pro-gun right, and the anti-gun, conspiracist left......

We were probably closer to a civil war in the 60s, and even then we weren't very close.

The least improbable scenario think I could think of that would even come close would be if Hawaii tried to secede. My understanding of it is that a large number of Hawaiians don't even consider themselves to be Americans.

No way. The people are way too brainwashed.
Think of the people on this board. They understand how insidious and evil the government's war on drugs is, and yet they think everything else the government does is fine and dandy and in our best interests.
Forget it. America is done for.

Contradictory statement perhaps?

Hahaha.....yeah I guess. A lot of things considered impossible are probably possible as i've found out.....but still, the odds that this guy is legit are pretty slim. Still, it's always possible so......either way he made a lot of predictions that have come true, so....... Check out that site, you'll see what I mean, and what it has to do with a civil war in the US.

I don't think we'll see anything like widespread violence.
My hope is that with the budget shortfalls we face across the country, ever increasing property taxes, standardized educations failing, and more and more of the population believing they've been unreasonably represented that people will see governement intervention solves nothing.
If even small pockets of the country can demonstrate a better system then maybe it will catch on.
Reform will always be better than revolution.

We weren't attacked by our own military or citizens. There is no war level conflict between U.S. Citizens and the U.S. Military, or U.S. citizens versus themselves. We are talking about civil war.

There are a few things that could trigger a civil war. Sudden unreasonable gun control. If the come to our homes to take our guns. Mark of the beast. If they put it on us against our will. Population control. Killing babies Excessive force against a black guy.
With the gun control I think we would hand over our guns without a fight and the people who did fight back would b viewed by the majority as extreme but I think it could trigger a small short lasting war with alot of small communities.
Mark of the beast will definitely trigger a civil war if its forced on us. I would kill anyone who tried to put something on me against my will and feel good about it. It wouldn't be a war of two armies, it would be militias and terrorists doing what ever they could/had to do to bring the government to its knees.
You would think population control would trigger a terrorist type civil war but I don't know. If everybody was like me the government would learn real quick that they cant afford to kill babies because everytime they did, something would go up in flames.
Excessive force against a black guy always starts a civil war. Black people tear up their own neighborhood and the police shoot them with pepperspray.
I just had a thought about the mark of the beast. If they put a chip inside your hand but then you cut it out. A cop stops you and runs a scanner over your hand and realizes you don't have your chip so he takes you to jail. Where do you think they will put the next chip????

the majority of Texas is extreme. only the minority would give up the guns. i do not see guns being taken away in Texas in my lifetime.

I live in Texas and I was born and raised here in a small town. If they busted in my door for my guns with a search warrant they can have them. If the word is out that the government is coming for our guns, a battle plan would not be part of my preparation. I would prepare by sealing my guns in PVC tubes and sinking them in my pond to be later retrieved by me. I talk alot of crap about "if they come for my guns they'll get bullets" but in reality I wouldn't shoot. Guns are for protection of yourself but more importantly your family. Shooting at the police will only put your family in danger because you cant beat the police. They will kill you and take your guns and then your family will have no protection. Hide your guns so you can use them later to fight battles that you can win.

Oh yeah another reason for civil war The lonestar state can break away. This might cause war but I dont really think so. Would a John Kerry kinda guy go to war with a Bush kinda guy? Not likely I think our Tx economy would be strong. Our oil could come from Mexico and we already have good industry and ocean front and alot of the US military already comes from Texas.
