I need a recomendation for some comfortable shoes.
    #3647332 - 01/19/05 09:36 AM (12 years, 7 months ago)

I have never found a pair of shoes that I've liked. Mood relies on comfort, and I've been in a piss sour mood lately. I think it's because my feet hurt so much at the end of the day. I'm on my feet all day moving heavy shit because of my job. Non-leather would be nice, but if it's a question of my feet I'm willing to look past my veggie ways just this once. Anybody got any suggestions?

I love my pair of cheap running sneakers.  Very comfortable.

If you mean shoes though, I have a pair of Sketchers that are in fact very comfortable as well.

I just use running type shoes also. I usually wear the same pair of shoes no matter what I'm doing. Even if the shoes arent comfortable at first, they get worn in and become molded to your foot's shape. I buy black running shoes so that even when they are worn in or dirty, they still dont look too bad.
I find it hard to ever let my "good shoes" go. When I go on hikes with people, they usually throw on hiking boots but whats the point? I mean hiking boots arent usually worm much so they can end up hurting your feet. I would trade traction for comfort. If you are gonna be walking around for a long time, i think it's better to have on something comfortable that you are used to.

I like K swiss shoes, Then again they're the only brand that will fit my fat foot.

High arches are a bitch.

My foot literally won't fit in most nike shoes.

Tony Hawks are the most comfortable and durable shoe I've ever worn. Just about any skater shoe from Tony Hawk, Airwalk, or Vans will probably suit your needs.

thats a pretty kick ass website....nice selection of shoes too.
but shoes are something that need to be tried on b4 theyre bought...if they sell those at a retail store i would buy a couple pairs.

right now i like new balance's trail running shoes...very comfortable and durable.

Adidas "Ozweego" model men's running shoes are extremely comfortable.
I have bought a new pair of them every year since 1999, that's how comfortable they are. Plus they have a "stash" spot on the top of the "tongue" part.

If you are looking for a "tennis" shoe that can be worn all the time I choose New Balance. They are cheap and I love the comfort

Vans are mad comfortable, I find, particularly for my monstrously wide feet. :yesnod:

hey thanks a lot! certainly got a lot of suggestions to check out. I've tried some of those brands before. Reebok DMX actually made my feet go numb. It just pushed too hard on my heel or something. Adidas didn't fit very well. Skechers actually fell apart on me rather quick. One thing I forgot to mention is that I have size 14US feet. So finding a brand that fits me well is hard because most shoes made seem to be fit for size 9 or 10 feet and then just scaled up.

I like the fact that New Balance has a lot of non-leather shoes though... I didn't know that. probably give them a shot.

thanks again

adidas or vans or pony are all good shoes. But if you want some hella comfy shoes invest in some skate shoes. They are made really well compared to regular shoes cause of the punishment an avid skater would put it through. And they have really good ankle and foot support and are REALLY comfy.

Yeah dude, plus skate shoes are pretty cheap. You can pick up a pair for under $20 normally on clothing sites like eastbay.com and actionvillage.com (paintball stuff too $$$)

Seriously though think about Tony Hawk's, I have a pair I've had for three years that haven't ripped, faded, or gotten a hole in them yet and I got them on sale for under $30.
