No the strains will either battle it out until either dominates each other or youll get some crazy mutants but Most likely the first one. Dont do it its just a waste of spores, knock up jars of diff strains so you have some research material to compare

i think hes talking about if its possible to inoculate 2 jars with two diff strains not case 2 different jars, I wonder how that would turn out though.

inoculating 1 jar with 2 strains would be the exact same as putting 2 cakes with different strains right next to each other. neither would produce new strains

Innoculating a jar with 2 strains would probably give different results then casing them either side by side or mixed. None of which will give you new or different shrooms. Knock up a jar with 2 strains and one will probably fight out the other and colonize the jar after time. Or perhaps they'll both colonize portions then you would have the same result as if you mixed two colonized jars together which would be alot of small mushrooms of both types everywhere (due to the individual strains not being compatable and not forming one large network but rather many many small ones that cant connect). Then you can put them side by side like in that picture and youll get just like you see, half one shroom on one side and half the other shroom on the other with nothing in the middle.

You won't know what strain will be produced.
You might get one...you might get both...but you won't get a hybred of both.
Do not grow out and trade...as you don't know what you will end up with....please. I worry about the shroomery getting mixed strains of cubensis because of people mixing up grows like this.
