Hi all,

In a dream, I saw some small white specks on my coco casing. I dug out the portion and some of the rye substrate. I saw on the substrate some deep green flecks all through the rye and some on the mycelium. What is it? Can mold really grow into or onto the mycelium network?

Oh, and how can i avoid this?

Green is bad. Yes, it can take over. Did you sterilize your coir?
