well, ok. so wisdom i learned from a few pills, life in general, and a number of wonderfull friends.
enjoy!
1. if you can talk you can sing, if you can walk you can dance
2. take care of your body and it will take care of you
3. hug someone everyday
4. dance everyday
5. dance like no one is watching
6. dance when no one IS watching
7. trust in the world and trust in yourself, no matter how often either one has let you down
8. there are no happy or sad events, only events that you allow or choose to make you happy or sad
9. maintain your integrity and be yourself. this may cause you to lose some old friends , but the new ones you gain will be far closer to you, because they love you for who you really are.
10. when you love the wind, it bites less harshly. when you love the world, it responds in kind.
11. love even your own sorrow
12. never forget the beauty of the blue sky
13. a few times a day, pause to see the world in stillness
14. "you can make mountains ring, or angels cry..."
15. "you hold the keys to love and fear, in your command..."
16. never argue, never debate, but always try your best to patiently explain
17. when people see the joy you derive from your compassion, they will seek to imitate you
18. joy is contagious. spread it everywhere
19. if something scares you, b assured that on the other side of your fear lies vitality and joy. push on through...
20. dream every day and night
21. embrace change with open arms
22. change begins inside (be the change you want to see)
23. if you can dream it, you can experience it.
24. RAVE ON!
25. a fight avoided is a fight won
26.a rose of any other gender would still smell as sweet...
27. when the lesson is learned and acnowledged, shame can be let go.
28. awe is all around us
29. let your body hang loose but keep your head up high
30. every second spent in life makes the world a better place
31. DANCE, LAUGH, LOVE, AND BE AWED EVERY SINGLE MOTHERFUCKING DAY... WHAT ARE YOU BLIND? THIS WORLD IS UN FUCKING BELIEVABLE!!!!!
that is all

This promotes a split. There is no body separate from you.

Wow, all that from a pill? I had to learn all those the hard way - through bumper stickers, t-shirts, inspiration-posters, and cliche` espousing bubble-gum snapping chicks. Ah, kids have it so easy these days...

ok so you think its cliche, bubblegum spirituality. Thats fair, your particular mind is attracted to heavy eastern philosophy. to each his own.
But actually living the things ive said, and i have in fact been doing so, has brought my life into a new era of happiness, contentment, and love.
i would humbly suggest that you are so used to digging through heavy texts for the truth that when it is presented to you in its glorious simplicity, you dismiss it as bubblegum fluff... which is a terrible waste. Trust me, even one single proverb on this list, if brought into your tangible experience, could dramatically alter your life. it has for me.
SO, take it or leave it, but it works for me, so maybe it will help some of you?
and swami, although there is only one 'me' that me is composed of various parts, including body and mind. When your mind decided to maintain or develop the body, it gets double its investment back through enhanced performance, self confidence, etc...

I knew several people who learned how to die with pills. Thats a neat trick...

A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

I'm playing devil's advocate here, but just which part of the body is you? And if there is no part of the body that is YOU, then how can the body as collection be you either? Same goes for your mind. Who possesses 'YOUR' mind? If YOU are the posseser then the mind is not you either. Is there anything left for YOU to be?

Moon, yes, those are all good, tried and true principles of living healthily... I knew that. There is no ill intention of merely dismissing the crystallized wisdom that you shared. Perhaps I should be more clear of my humor in the future.

this is pretty obvious, but you didn't learn all this just from the pill, what also helped you to learn all this is also experience, knowledge, the state of mind you were in, the environment you in, the people you were with, the things you did during your trip etc...
Anyway, a friend of mine told me that after the first time he took E, he felt really depressed for a month. What does that tell us? That he wasn't able to open his mind enough for insights to get to him, or that his experience prior to taking the pill didn't allow him to get those insights, or what?

It tells us he used up too much of his serotonin during this experience.

The more pills you take the more serotonin is used, but your resources are not infinite. It takes some time to reproduce serotonin again, and during this time depression is not uncommon. It rarely happens after eating one, but some more can definitely do it.

Hey thanx Psiledehysp, that was really interesting
Moonshoe, Since you said that you did not feel any kind of depression whatsoever, it is that you did not suffer from a loss of serotonin, therefore I theorize that you have taken only a small amount of E.
Now the question is, how are you able to keep a high dose of serotinin running? There are 2 possibilities: - Your present state of mind somehow affects the serotinin production work by making more serotinin. I feel that you are consciously bathing yourself in happiness, it isn't your body that trigggered the way the way you feel, it is your consciousness. I bet you're feeling like a god if this is the case..don't you feel like you've got total control over yourself, and perhaps over your destiny? Anyways, the first theory is that there is a conscious body-mind connection, which means that you (the mind) is consciously operating the body in a positive manner (with the goal of feeling happy). The state of happiness you enter effects the working of your body as well as the level of serotonin needed for the completion of your will to be made. With awareness comes realization comes control.
-The second theory is that you're on a diet containing high levels of tryptophan, which is what is needed to synthesize serotonin. I remember you saying that you went on a very well balanced diet for your Moonshoe challenge and that you even decided to stay with it. Its been proven that what you eat has an effect on your mood.
Whichever possibility is correct doesn't matter, what matters is that you have profited from the state of mind you've been in.
The most interesting book of all, is the book of Life. Your consciousness does not need to be in a normal state of consciousness for it to read off of life. Thus the saying "be a light onto yourself". It seems you have been able to bring more light onto this book, and you have gained an improved perspective on life. The best part is that you also seem to have integrated the 31 things you have learned from the pill in your life, and thats the most important part. Without integration in day to day life, the experience becomes almost wasteful.
I congratulate you my friend, your on your way to whatever your on your way to. Your talents lie in your abilities in learning, in making out what is true from what is fake, probably in trusting yourself, and definitely in integrating. Your challenge to yourself was not useless, to say the least! Your efforts are well paid, no?
