i have put my cakes in the fruiting chamber on the 15th. after dunking and cold shock and rolled in sterile verm. should i be able to see pins forming by now? its has been 3 days, i dunno if i'm being impatient or something but i'm getting quite paranoid...
also i'm using a Philips TL flourescent light, its high in the blue spectra, should i even be using this type of light? all the enviromental factors in the fruiting chamber are kept at a optimal level.. come'on where's my freakin pins?!
picture of setup
picture of light i'm talking bout

you need to wait longer. average 5-7 days. up to 2 weeks.

You do not have to but IME mushrooms grow bigger in the dark and pin better in the light...give them light accordingly.
