I believe it was Carl Sagan who said "The universe is not only stranger than we imagine; it is stranger than we can imagine."
I think this is a profound statement, as well as something I have experienced in my own life. My efforts to conceptualize reality (and thus, infinity) were met with frustration. Every mental construct is by nature finite and a gross marginalization of the infinite, absolute reality. Instead of giving up, however, I have found that the realm of intuition (thoughts and feelings that are not based on empirical knoweledge), has provided me with a different way to "know".
I'm interested to hear what you all have to say about this, and figured it would be a good way to return to the board, as I am back from a short hiatus.
Peace & Love,
