Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

why is that image photoshoped?

i'll have to look for some info on the Boletales of south america. i'll get back to you if i find anything.

one last q: are the caps and underside of the margins actualy that viscose, or is that a filter?

Ok... I just put all the pictures together in one image (cut and paste), just to save space, and to be better hadled.

They were not changed with filters or so.

I must say... everything was wet because it rained minutes before the pictures.

My first thought is a polypore, similar to Polyporus varius.

Happy mushrooming!
