This whole brain bleeding/swelling thing is real widely believed in my area. I don't know why, people are so ignorant. Every time mushrooms come up in a conversation someone has to freak out and tell everyone that it makes your brain bleed and all that bs. Luckily there's people around to enlighten the idiots of the world.

I think unaware is more appropriate than idiot.
I too refer to idiots often ----- or did... but whenever that deep little asshole inside me digs his way out to the surface and presents an unfair judgement i force my betterside to reflect something positive about the person being judged. Never put yourself on a pedestal - it'll change you, and how people perceive you.
Its becomming second nature to me - the king of egocentricity (at times.)

Thanks for that. They're not idiots because they are uneducated. They're idiots for just taking something that someone told them as pure truth, then trying to tell someone who knows what they're talking about that they are in fact wrong. Its when people talk about things that they know nothing about, like they have a clue. Idiots. I stand by my statement.

Gee...I like them as an antiviral that crosses the blood/brain barrier. Now all my patients are going to know I'm bleeding thier brain and shrinking thier thing! 1) Yes - dick post so funny! 2) No - I actually have 2 "brain" people I worry over and one is suffering "Wenrickes Encephalitis" (bleeding brain) and I want the shrooms to actually increase the tissue integrity and help stop the bleeding....the other is a tumor that is too difficult to reach with the knife (yeeeek anyway!) and I've been telling him that the mushroom is better.... 3) To the best of my knowledge and experience - wherever there is any kind of trash in your body, the good holy shroom will get rid of it! Drink plenty of water kids!
Oh! PS - <<And they aren't bad for your liver at all, or anything.>> I've been telling my sore liver folks that they are GOOD for them - Interferon Baby!

brain bleeds are called hemmorhagic strokes. The kind that most old people tend to have, they end up with a droppy face and slurred speach and are sometimes left mentally retarded. If you were to have a brain bleed you'd act like someone who was having a stroke, not seeing patterns, walking, and talking. If you have a stroke, a hemmorhagic stroke, or any other bad brain thing you should go to the hospital immediately. On mushrooms that won't happen, unless you happen to be 80 with blocked arteries and take mushrooms at the same time and happen to have a stroke (not caused by the mushrooms still).
You should read the thread at the top of this forum called "How Hallucinogenic Drugs Work"
