Well I live in the Erie County part of New York State and I was just wondering if you can find any certain types of mushrooms up here. Ive been lookin and nothin really to find. I dont know if its the climate or area I live in. I would greatly appriciate some feedback. Thanx :

3. Do not ask if the current weather is "good for shrooms." These threads are flat out annoying, and will be locked. This information can easily be found with a little bit of research. As a general rule of thumb, if it has rained within the last 2-3 days, and the temperatures are correct for the type of mushroom you're looking for, then *yes* it is possible that the mushroom you are looking for is growing.
4. Do NOT ask what mushrooms can be found growing in your state or imediate area This information is easily found in the Mushroom Hunting FAQ and/or has been posted at least once elsewhere on the net.
