Goodbye Blue Sky

Did you see the frightened ones? Did you hear the falling bombs? Did you ever wonder why we had to run for shelter when the Promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue Sky?
Did you see the frightened ones? Did you hear the falling bombs? The flames are all gone, but the pain lingers on.
Goodbye, blue sky Goodbye, blue sky. Goodbye. Goodbye. Goodbye.

pink floyd is my absolute favorite classic rock band. i think they are one of the top 3 rock legends of all time. kinda like elvis. even though i dont care for elvis' music.

i would think that pink floyd is more popular then jimi hendrix. i wasnt talking about what music i like. just the legends. i think beatles, elvis, and pink floyd are the top three. can anyone convince me otherwise?

Letto, Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon holds the #1 spot for the longest best selling album of all time! No one else has accomplished that. So I would re-think the statement that they don't appeal to a lot of people!! IMO this is the all time greatest band. I'm not the only one!!!!

I hear what you're sayin'. Personally I'm not an Elvis fan. But ,as he did change the way people thought of music in them days, his music won't stand the test of time that groups like the Beatles and Pink Floyd. As far as the Beatles go, they were in the right place at the right time. Someone else would have taken their place if there were no Beatles. Pink Floyd was a cult band and didn't care about he fame. They were just there with a solid following. The Beatles were made, so to speak. A "POP" band that turned into a psycadelic band later.....

-------------------- Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.
