New Jersey- What a dump.... no really, i theoretically reside in the area... "Jersey" is an indian word for "no mushrooms grow here."

But seriously, there are only 2 or 3 species that NATURALLY grow in the area, but first off, they are VERY weak, and far and few. I forget the species names, but MJ would know them off the top of his head.

As a side note, this is the time of year (actually a little late, but the weather has been appropriate still) that is great to throw some spawn or spores into the appropriate area. i can assure you that they indeed WILL GROW, if helped out.

Just because you are paranoid, don't mean they're not after you...

Psilocybe gravaeolens is the only mushroom listed in Jersey, according to Mapping the Mycelial Network. Most of us hunters, if not all, have never seen a pic of this mushroom.
It'd be cool to see, though.
I hope you find a bluing mushroom, man. If you do, be sure and post the pics, 'cause we'd be thrilled!
Stay cool!-Levi7.
