Trich will take over fast, the only thing I've found effective in beating it is lime. I've never had tiny spots of it, usually by the time you see it it's taken over.

in fact trich loves colonized myc... that is where most trich comes from in casings... only noticeable at the casing level but has actually permeated a fair way down... are you sure it is trichoderma? i have never had it show up as spots on a colonized cake unless it has been cased and flushed a few times... odd...

Here is a trick I used on the Green when I first started out. I used a small vacuum like the ones used for keyboards to suck out any spores in the contaminated area first the cut it out. No re contam after this. The green stuff is loaded with spores so if you simply cut it you do it a favor by spreading its spores further and damaging you white buddies defence. Good luck. I have also used a solder sucker but it can be hard to get all of em
Huh? Who just said that? Wow man!

I had that green shit the first time i grew. It started as bubbles on the top of 1 cake, that turned green spotty, then spread to all my cakes but 2 that i cased and then the casing had green mold. So i was a lil salty about that one.
