Cleaning a Warm-Mist Humidifier

What is the best way of cleaning one of these things. I don't have any CLR, or decalcifier or anything like that.

A vinegar/water solution should work fine hey?

I would think so, yes. I really don't know how to go about this, but I would like to know, as well.

I just filled up the resevoir thing with water, and added some vinegar...now it's working like new.

Sweet!! It doesn't make it smell like vinegar all of the time, does it? That would suck!!

Run some bleach thru it too.
Can't hurt, and you might get some more cleared off.

i didn't add too much vinegar. maybe i should of measured, but i just poured abit in. So no it doesnt smell like vinegar
