can someone please tell me what a 50/ 50 casing is?, and also should vermiculite be used in a peat moss casing?

50/50 casing is simply a mixture of 50% peat and 50% vermiculite. It is best to add some lime to boost the ph since the peat has a relatively low ph by nature.
