Is Florida Producing?
    #3635227 - 01/16/05 04:30 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

We have had heavy rains for the past 2 days and I was wondering if there would be shrooms growing this time of year the temperature has been anywhere from 60-80. The sky has been cloudy though so I dont know if there has been enough sunlight for them to fruit.

Awesome I'll have to check the fields out then.

It's apparently hard to find Cubes in horse fields right? Because I have found two fat cubes sitting in a horsepasture before.

And today I was gonna go check out a cow field, my only problem is I'm afraid that im gonna be spotted and chased down by a redneck.

first off, shrooms don't need sunlight, they will grow( in funky directions) without qany sunlight at all.. if you want them to grow up, then sunlight is required, but not much- one hour would do..

next- I would imagine florida would be producing.. only one way to find out though

3. Do not ask if the current weather is "good for shrooms."
These threads are flat out annoying, and will be locked. This information can easily be found with a little bit of research.
As a general rule of thumb, if it has rained within the last 2-3 days, and the temperatures are correct for the type of mushroom you're looking for, then *yes* it is possible that the mushroom you are looking for is growing.
