1 big cake = 2 medium cakes?
    #3635157 - 01/16/05 02:02 PM (20 years, 4 days ago)

Well as most of you know im moving along in my first grow.  I wont be casing this first round, just doing cakes.  I was wondering since I am using the 1lb mycobags if it I would yeild more if I cut the cakes in half and had 14 1/2lb cakes, instead of 7 1lb cakes.  I will be dunking and coldshocking these. I didnt see this question asked anywhere so thanks for the help!

You would yeild more if you broke the bags up and spawned to poo/straw. I dont think it would make a huge difference, except for the fact that you would have alittl emore surface area.

Your yeild will depend on the nutrients in the cake not the size of the cake.

Two half pints will produce about the same weight as 1 pint cake.
