Need help please!!!

Greeting everyone! I'm going nuts here. I think I cased my straw substrate too soon because the only place there is fluffy mycellium is in the corners of my grow chamber. I tried pinning for two weeks, the first week I had 12 hours of light on, then the next I dropped it to 11 hours light. The reason I think I cased too soon, because nothing happened. My question is, should I take the casing soil off and raise the temp. for my chamber again to help the mycellium colonize more? The straw is a little white, but I still see alot of the straw anda little mycellium. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!
Cheers!

Can you put foil over the casing and put it in an incubation chamber? Will it fit in one?
If you can...you will see better results in colonizing the casing layer.
Good luck!~

Thanks!!! I will give it a try and see if that works. Should I keep the temp at 75, or raise it back to 80's?
Thanks again!

Thanks for the info. I'm put a layer of foil over my casing soil, and raised the temp to 83ish. I'm still gonna give it light and see what happends because I've heard p. cubensis will still fruit no matter what with high temps. Thanks for the info and anything else you provide! It is a large scale set up I have so I hope it doesn't go bad.
Cheers!

myc colonizes better and stronger in the dark, you will get a poor pinset in high temp with light

I beleive magash has said before that casings don't need a high humidity (like 100%) so if that is high try and drop it a little. -2 cents.

What if I cased it and it was already colonized poorly. WOuld you take the casing soil off and then put it back in the dark for a week or so, then case it again? Or leave the casing soil on and put it in the dark and hope for the best?
THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO! You guys are a lot of help.

incubate it in the dark untill you see myc poking through the top cover the exposed myc with extra casing material and birth into chamber, now the myc should pop up evenly = evenpinset

If you take the casing soil off why the hell would you incubate it? The point of incubating the casing is to get the mycelium to grow INTO the casing soil. THEN fruit it.
"I beleive magash has said before that casings don't need a high humidity (like 100%) so if that is high try and drop it a little."
They dont need 10%..85-95% is good for casings...however Magash is one person that likes to keep his chamber at 100% even with casings...at least he used to unless hes changed up over the last few months.

scat- I was thinking of taking the casing off because it didn't colonize the straw well. The mycellium wasn't growing well at all. I will adjust the humidity accordingly. THanks!
Pennligh-thanks! I will put it in a dark place for 12-14 days and check on it every couple of days. Hopefully the myc will start to grow again. I just hope I didn't mess it up by trying to fruit too soon!
