Search FAQ & grow log for your answers. Good way to propagate single colonizedjar is G2G. Then spawn to bulk sub like horse manure/straw mix, cased will get you BULK.

The shroomery has a sponsor who carries compost. I wouldnt use storebought compost if I were you. It doesnt seem to work for anyone. Ive never tried any store brands.
If you want quanity and monster mushrooms you have to go bulk. Popcorn isnt the best spawn. Its so big. Use something small like millet or WBS for a faster run.

You can get some great results with the Horse Poo Tek. Here is the Link... Horse Poo Tek
You can transfer some fully colonized WBS or Popcorn to new jars...to start new jars.
Good luck!~

Straw works good...use straw if thats all you can get right now. You will only get a few good flushes though. Horse poo works better than straw...this spring start collecting horse poo. Couple years ago I collected over 400 pounds of horse poo to last me through the Winter...lol. Good luck!~
