MY first strawtubs are incubating now.

The first though has loads of green mold in the part which got to hot and killed all the spawn. The other part is healthy. So I cut the greenmold part away, probably spreading spores all around teh tub anyway I could not toss it! Yet...

The other tub is a nice GT the myc coming up from the top now.



Ready to case it?

yep, ready to case. and get rid of the green one, or at least put it in another room. it's cancer.

make sure the straw is all covered up. casing layer about 1/4 to 1/3 the substrate depth - but you knew that already  :grin:

I already was hinted to case it so I just had my casingmaterial in the microwave for 5 minutes. Or is pasteurised casing better with straw?

Ill fruit the green tub in a separate closed tub. Just me being stubborn, its from a strain I have no print from yet dont want to buy another syringe, again... :frown:
