Add user comments to the tek section of the site. It's a nice way to allow the docs to grow naturally through the contribution of anyone that wants to pitch in.

Here is an expample of this in action. Look at the way the users help others w/ the things that weren't clear/obvious to them. Cool.

A possible implementation strategy would be to just use the forum software. A hidden group/forum, one thread per tek, then use php allow 'replys' and to dump the replys into the tek HTML doc. Don't show the forum publicly (or do, whatever) but only allow replys through the programatic interface in the tek itself. ie, a 'submit comment' button on the tek would link to the wwwthreads 'reply' page.

Or a whole new thing could be written. It's just storing some doc comments for crap's sake! Not a big technical hurdle..

When we fix up our tek section, we will add a 'vote' to each tek, that way people can see what teks are more popular than others.... I like the comments idea too :smile:
