I know that is has to be heated to a high temperature, so this should be ideal right? I hope I get some answers soon, i'm dying to try it out!!!!

Hrmm generally the idea with a vaporize is to heat stuff and not torch it. The word is the hotter the flame the better, so im guessing it may work but not as well?
The times i tried it i had best results with a torch lighter.
Salvia smoke is also kinda gross IMHO. After i smoked it out of a pipe i had to clean that before i could use it anymore.

Oh, I thought that a vapouriser heated things to a level on par with a torch lighter... are you sure about that?

Oh and if I put a goodly portion of salvia on, do you think I will be able to burn it twice?, I mean for two inhalations.
because I did this before with just a normal lighter and it LOOKED unusable a second time, really ashy, even though it was just a normal lighter. So I disposed of it and put a new chunk on, but I went through the salvia pretty damn quickly.

Vaprorisers are used to heat marijauna to a LOWER than lighter tempurature so as to more efficiently release the active chemicals, which are active at sub-lighter tempuratures and the flame actually destroys them (everytime you light a bowl, you're killing a good portion of the THC before you've even gotten it).

i was not happy with the vaporizer. 10x or 20x in a small pipe and reg lighter worked fine. the stronger the extract the less you have to smoke. very little lung or throat tissue damage will happen if you use a regular lighter instead of a torch.
with a long pipe stem you need a torch. with plain leaf also - and plain leaf smoke is a bit gross.
the vaporization temp of salvinorin is lowered when you draw on the pipe due to an effective local pressure drop - this means you do not need a torch in short pipes since the pressure is controlled directly by the inhallation.
longer pipe stems and water pipes do not have as responsive a fluid dynamic (static pressure varies along the path)
