if someone were to have an outbreak of penicillium or some other unidentified contaminant,(i say pen because i would like to assume the worst) what precautions should be made to ensure the safety of this supposed person and his presently colonizing and uncontaminated jars?(he has already ditched everything, sprayed and wiped with alcohol, put a hepa and a negative ion generator in the room/house.)
oh yeah- might he reuse the perlite from a contaminated fruiting chamber if it is baked?
Baking is not really the best sterilization method, so if you absolutely must reuse the perlite that is probably saturated with mold spores, I'd recommend using a different technique for re-sterilization.
