yes that would work fine,but the nipple at the top of the lid is for a pump that suckes the air out of the chamber and speades up drying,as the lid looks like it has a silacone seal around the lid also,but you could just plug the hole i guess if you did not want to use the pump,but this is just my 2 cents worth
