is this mycellium? Help!

Dear forum:
Sad I'm... very sad.
My first time, I have inoculated 12 jars with Hawaiian string. After almost a month, nothing happened in 8 of them, except few green spots. Since I?m kind of sensitive and I was so exited with my new hobby, I?m kind of depressed. I lost my babies!
However, I got 4 heavy weight jars looking like this. (see pic please)
http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/uploads/cuatiklad/2005-01-14_014434_P1130038.jpg
Since I?m a newbie, I implore you to tell me, is that Mycellia? I thought it was whiter.
If it is, is it ready to be taken out of the jar?
And finally, is the marked spot a contamination? If it is, is there still a chance for the Mycellia to defeat the contams?
Please add to your comments, ?I?m sure?, ?very sure?, ?not sure?, etc. Thanks for unswerving my newbie questions.

What (quantities) did you mix in the cake?

4 Vermiculite, 2 brf, 2 water.
4 of the jars look like that. The other have more green spots (little ones) and look more dry. Since I?ve never seen mycelium before, I don?t know if this is mycelia or what.
I?ll confess, I?ve been doing pressing the Actualize button on browser since I post this.
is it?

What kind of flour, maybe it is just me but your mix seems strange.
The white spot is SO small that I cannot tell what it is.

I'l see the brand of the brown rice flower
Used a PC, then inoculate in a glovebox. The lighter stop working in the process because air consumption inside the glovebox, so between the jars, many times there was no sterilization of the needle. Any way, the flame would not heat enough the needle and would leave a black nasty dust. The needle was huge! And the holes to little so I practically had to resize the holes in the lids with each inoculation. Man! That needle was a wapon of self defense! So the hole process was terrible? I was practically poking the holes again with the needle; the lighter wouldn?t burn, etc?
Please, be aware that Explorer automatically reduces the size of the pictures? I?m sending a big picture, so it is necessary to press the Expand option that appears when u put the mouse pointer over the pic.

That looks real tight...
Slam the jar on your palm so the side opposite the spot hits your palm. That should knock the BRF away from that side of the glass with the white dot. The extra room might allow it to grow, if it is mycelium. Until then, it is hard to tell.

These jars had been 20 days at a dark place at 85 F. The spot I?m marking is color green. I wonder if all the rest is Mycellia and the green spot mold. It looks very tight, just like other three. The 8 others look dry, and nothing happened.
Do I still slam them?

Inoculate dont need in glovebox but ok will do ofcourse.. ;P Needle let it cool afterwards, and/or wipe it off with alcohol soaked clean toilet paper or something. Let dry/evaporate. Go!
Really cant help yah with that white spot. Might be myc though but... not for sure to tell.

holy shit...i can;t tell what that is...but it def looks like ur puttin too much water in there...or ur packin it down!
it should not be sooo tight in the jars like that...alter ur recipe..cause all vermiculite is diff..and may need less or more water.
