I think their later, more mature-sounding stuff is better, like Let It Be or Abbey Road. Some of their psychedelic-era stuff is good, but a lot of it is too quirky and wierd for me.

WEEN is good trip music. Beatles White album and Pink Floyd Pompeii are my favs.

Cant beleive no ones mentioned S Peppers, as it has to be one of the trippiest albums ever conceived! :eek:

Pink Floyd is the best. If you can find some, get some Hawkwind. Good early 70's psychadelic music. Hard to find though.

I dont like Let It Be much. Is had two good songs (Across The Universe and Let It Be), but the rest are just mediocre songs. In reality, Sgt Peppers isnt actually that trippy, it's just the album art that gives people that impression. The White Album is their most creative album by far, which is odd seeing as they are mostly all solo efforts.

Wow! good reccomendations all! I spent the last day listening to most of the stuff i've never heard of- like Hawkwind and
porcupine tree. I have found so much good shit to listen to that I could rip the ears off someone to borrow for the time being.

Pink Floyd is great, I used to dose with them all the time. I prefer live Dead and SCI now though.
