 relocating to dorm room

hello fello shroomers,
i am posting this hoping to get some advise from anyone with experiance or insite to my situation. in less than a month i will be moving away to college i have several casings that have just been started and i don't want to waste them because i have to move. so my question is should i create a small setup in my dormroom, see if i can have a friend (also in college w/ house) take care of them or should i scrap the whole thing???
I want to get some oppinions on how risky it would be in a dorm room ( i am rooming with a friend who is cool with the situation)
any thoughts appreciated.

Well, I had a dream about growing shrooms in terrariums that you keep in chests. The same kind of chests that so many people have in dorms... And in this dream the lightsource was just a flourescent bulb screwed into the top of the chest. Really ingenius little dream if you ask me.

1) You need to get a large tupperware chest that you can put a lock on. This will ensure that no one can find your shit.
2) You may or may not want to discuss it with your room mate depending on how he seems. I recommed that you discuss it with him/her.
3) Tell No One else in your dorm you are growing.
4) You might want to use a battery powered flouresent light for lighting this way you have no cords comming out of your tupperware. These are availible at home depot and lowes and you can find recharge able batteries at places like Best Buy, Kmart and Wal*mart. No cords is very inportant if you ask me. You don't want any reason for someone to suspect that something is going on in that large locked tupperware.
5) Inside the large tupperware you might want to use 1-2 smaller tupperware that contain the casings/cakes this will help you control the environment a little better for the mushies and will also allow you to take them out for inspection and picking. This might also help eliminate any mushroom oder that might build up in a small room.
Take every precaution that you can because if you get caught you will definately be kicked out of school and probibly be in some trouble with the cops.
I know in my dorm room they used to have a inspection to check for microwaves(which were not allowed) and check to make sure we had all electrical things pluged in properly. They did this once a quarter, but never told you in advance so you would not have time to hide shit. Also they had a person check for pests (cockroaches, ants, ect..) that usually can in your room while you were gone. Make sure he/she can't stumble on you little project.

The risk here is that if you get caught, you get kicked out of school. My friend would never suggest keeping them in your dorm. No matter how cool you think people are, they still talk. In your situation, there will be a lot a parties to come. Booze loosens the tounge and word has a funny way of getting to those that you do not want to get word. My friend would suggest growing the casings you have, drying the shrooms and take them with you. Still be very quite about your little stash. When you move out of the dorm - proceed.

If you have a roommate then I think you're fucked, otherwise a big chest will do nicely. I grow all my shrooms in an old toy box in my bedroom, and my parents have never found out. Just put something on top of it (a pile of papers, your computer printer, whatever) so that curious dormmates aren't tempted to peek under the lid.
