Ive found those exact ones growing off gum tree bark in my bush aswell I was fooled for a second until I looked closely and relised it was more of a purple than a blue and it has a strange piss smell.Yuck!! All the Subaguranosias have disappeared eccept a small cluster which has been growing off a log for ages and I ate them yesterday and there are a few pinning aswell. I dont understand why they grow no where else but on this log?

heh. *sigh* dammit.. I think it's prolly too cold hey? Damn 11 degrees outside.. Was 4 the other night hehe. Hopefully this mycelium solution that I poured onto some manure which I then covered up with more manure will grow into something!! Either that or this greenish crap in my casing better not be mould. And if it is.. I'm eatin those shrooms anyway. Killer toxins. pah! :) I don't see how the mushies would take in the toxins actually.. trees filter toxins out don't they? Why should mushrooms be any different? Especially if they grow and mature properly..

well.. if they like the cold then why's there nothing about? I went bushwalkin for a whole 6 hours the other day and I found one little tiny little mushroom.. not even sure what it was. It had just been raining for like 3 days plus it was sunny the day before and that day.. so um.. the only thing I can see is that it's too cold for them? Humidity's not the problem.. any ideas? :)

Na the Subs werent piss smelling, the ones that were in the pic . I recon Subs smell nutty. My friend vomited up 2 of the 5 mushrooms we found on the log and I ate the other 3. What a waste. :( Any way I tripped pretty hard for 3 small mushrooms. I was thinking of introducing some other wood chip psilocybes from around the world into my bush like, P. Azuracenes, P. Cyanacenes, P.Stuntzii and any other good species. It would be good to get the almost year round mushroom pickings like you guys get over in the states. I want some for when spring comes.
