Does this happen to you while listening to Pink Floyd "Echoes"...

I mean listening to it while tripping. At the part where the song starts to go wierd an eerie (About 11:10 into the song), with those wierd noises and it sounds like some sort of animal alien (go Gilmour!), does your trip take a turn for the worse? You start gettin negative thoughts, etc. Bad trip coming on. But then there is that one chord they play (14:44 into the song).. the deep one on keyboard. The second you hear it, you feel so fuckin good because you know everything will be allright. Happens to me all the time. That chord is like the greatest thing to hear... sounds like heaven.

I only heard that song on DXM...I know the part you are thinking of...it seems like a Dex song to me...that part just made my visuals in the dark change to something else but it was too long ago since I heard it on that stuff...

Yep, it happens to me. But more with the pompeii version. The serious part is harder, and the happy part is, well, happier
Dark room + Pink floyd + Hendrix + Mushrooms = The trip of your life.

It sounds like whales and or dolphins, that part has never made me turn for the worst. The part right after that is so opposite sounding, it is kick-ass contrast.

I've never listened to it tripping, but I did hear it whilst sleeping. That was one weird dream I had!

Thats crazy man. I swear that same thing happens to me. When that cord strums i usually go from freaking out to having a huge grin on my face. Its crazy to hear someone else talk about that, i figured i would be the only one who "understood"
What an album!

Hear 1983 by Jimi Hendrix and you'll know to what extent this can happen
