Bruising mycillium...

I have this cake that bruises intensely. In it's lifetime, I've only actually touched it one time, and it is a ridiculous blue Where I harvested, it bruised a mad blue also. Where the myc. is starting to recover in the holes is also blue, and since it is very wispy, it look s alot like gray mold. I've been watching it very carefully for the last 24 hrs. and it is growing like myc., not like mold. Also, there is no foul odors present. I'll keep an eye out. Meanwhile, let's try to get you a pick of that mad bruising...

Sorry about the pics., but (maybe) you can get the idea. I din't handle it roughly or excessively, is this normal?

Are you sure its bruising? It does look like bruising and yes it would be normal. It could be drying out if a flush has finished.

hmmm, dry, huh? I still don't know a lot of these things.
The cake is in and out of isolation, cuz I can't make up my mind, I mean, I know this is mad bruising. The top verm has a questionable growth going tho.
If my sub is dry, then the inside is dry, and the verm casing is moist and may be allowing gray mold to grow. I just cut the top of the cake off and returned it to isolation, cuz the [gray] area was makin' me nervous.
I'm goin to read more about gray mold, does it have a smell? cobweb? Cuz it smells nice and mushroomy.
Thanks all

Upon further review, my top verm layer slightly resembles this, not quite as obvious yet.. http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/24170 Just a reminder, even though I have read these pages before, I can understand them better now. So after those two pages, I feel more confident in identifying cobweb. Like I said, the verm stays pretty moist, not wet, moist. and seems like it would be a suitable environment for such, we'll see. I am sure about the bruise tho, I mean to say, it is a mad blue, like a dang majic marker. The fruits turned real blue real easy too. So the question will be, 1)Can I save the fruits that are growing off the bottom of the cake (mind you, I haven't possitively id'd contam yet, just taken precautions)? 2)Has it spread to my others? The B+ looks like it's settin up a nice pinset (surprisingly). And if it is something like cobweb, will it take over real quick? cobweb should start to look like fine threads rather than strings or strands, somethin' like that? Thanks again for any input...

OK, next day. It appears there is some "hairier" kind of growth going on on top of the cake, I'm tossin it "when in doubt..." But then, I harvested 2 mushies growimg from the bottom. Will these mushies be edible? Will I be able to tell as they dry that something is wrong? I will be drying in my favorite spot (back of TV)
