    #3623042 - 01/13/05 11:29 AM (20 years, 7 days ago)

well i have about 15% covered and I wanna shake them. My question is when I shake them out do I kinda squeeze all the grain back together into a ball again, or do I leave it loose? I will be caking these. Thanks

Mix and redistribute all the colonized grains , then let stay kinda loose(do not pack into ball) , allows for easier recovery and easier to finish colonization , takes myc more work to grow thru if to packed together again .

you knead it to spread it.
this will move the kernels around enuf to spread the myc.
you knead again when u got it around 40-50%.

dop not compress the grains to a mush,
just distribute them by kneading.
