the best i have came across is called dvd shrink excellent compresses the image file to fit on a single layer disc without any qualtiy loss.

if you are just trying to shrink and dupe dvds

clonedvd(copying program with on the fly shrinking) + andydvd(on the fly decrypter). Is the easiest and i can copy a dvd in a half hour.

dvd shrink is good stuff too.
