We'll know by February.

Until then, I'll let Michael Moore do the Bush bashing.

p.s. I LOVE Mike!

You sound like you have absolutly no idea what is going on and I think you should at least make an attempt to look at the gears of the mechanism you make broad assumptions about rather than looking merely at the outer shell.

As should you.

Details and specifics are VERY helpful when making ANY case.

You mean assume that the government is motivated by their personal will to do evil against the innocent proletariate of the world? And yet only true believers are able to see this because all the actual evidence is hidden in a vast conspiracy to brainwash us into being bloodthirsty warmongers?

Oil played an important role in Iraq. It made it so sanctions and threats didn't work and motivated our allies to betray us in order to get a piece of the pie. However, I find no fault in the motives given by the administration. They didn't want an oil-funded North Korea in the Middle East run by guys who have used WMDs for genocide on their own people. As far as anyone could tell it was a problem waiting to happen. This rational makes perfect sense to me and I see no reason to discount it and replace it with some shady ulterior motive, especially when the ulterior motive isn't really plausible or economical logical.

I listen to Michael Moore, hell I even admire him. I do NOT blindly follow him... nor do I blindly follow Bush.

Look, there's an election in less than 3 weeks. I will wait until THAT happens before I decide if the war was WHACKED! If Iraq gets a GOOD leader, who represents the MAJORITY, they should be better off.

An election REALLY settled things in Afghanistan. So did sending all our troops to Iraq. :smirk:

Well, time will tell... you may be right... but it is too close for me to be partisan. I just want to spectate this time.
